Liz Brewer invited 150 friends to the newly refurbished five-star luxury Athenaeum Hotel in London's Piccadilly for her birthday celebration, entitled Still Alive & Kicking.
Liz warmly welcomed her friends with Laurent Perrier Champagne, which flowed throughout the evening, together with Bogart’s Cocktails. The Athenaeum’s Group Director Bernard Murphy, and General Manager Joanne Taylor-Stagg, greeted guests and oversaw their professional staff to ensure the evening ran smoothly.
Gourmet food provided by Michelin-starred Chefs Chris and Jeff Galvin included Herdwick Lamb pastille with prune purée, Iron bark Pumpkin arancini, Smoked Applewood cheese croquette, Tartar of Loch Duart Salmon with pink grapefruit & avocado, Everleigh farm asparagus with Woodall’s air dried ham and hollandaise, and Choux bun stuffed with chicken liver parfait. Two magnificent Birthday cakes were given by Leny Green.
Among the very happy guests enjoying the party were Princess Diana's Wedding Dress designer David Emanuel and his business partner David Byrne, who revealed to the Mail on Sunday at the party, that they were in a relationship.
