Polo in the Park
Polo returned to the Hurlingham Club
following an absence of years, with Polo in the
Park, founded by Daniel Fox Davies, which is a
tournament with revised rules between Teams
London, New York, Moscow, and Buenos Aires.
Polo enthusiasts, Jack and Jodie Kidd,
greeted a mixture of celebrities, socialites and
VIP guests who flocked to Hurlingham, and were
served a sumptuous lunch in the Clubhouse by
Searcy’s. The guests then proceeded to the
Park to watch the fast, exciting matches and
enjoy the skills of world class players.
The crowd were enthusiastic and even the threat
of rain did not dampen their spirits as Blake
sang the National Anthem.
The event was a huge success, and very well
organized, and poised to become a highlight of
the polo calendar in the years to come.
