The Laurence Olivier Nominees Lunch
Stars of the theatre converged on the Swimming Pool Bar of the Haymarket Hotel, for delicious canapés and Champagne, to celebrate those nominated for the ensuing Laurence Olivier Awards

 

The Goring Hotel 100 Years Celebration
It's not very often you celebrate a 100th birthday, but the five star Goring Hotel in Belgravia did it in inimitable style. 600 important guests flowed past the Band of the Coldstream Guards, to enjoy a 1920’s themed party. The Champagne was in abundance, Executive Chef Derek Quelch's gourmet food plentiful, and the legendary Goring hospitality excelled. Jeremy Goring and his father George Goring, cut the cake, and the guests danced the night away to the Big Band, clearly reluctant to leave.

 

Tesco Mum of the Year Awards
Tesco Magazine celebrated their annual Mum Of The Year awards at the Waldorf Hilton, to recognise very special Mums who had performed outstandingly for their children. The Champagne and tears flowed in equal measure.

 

The Shadwell 20th Lesters
Jockeys know how to enjoy themselves, and demonstrated ably at the 20th annual Professional Jockeys Association’s Shadwell Lesters Awards. The Park Lane Hilton put on a top class dinner, while the cream of the racing world indulged themselves in an evening of well deserved backslapping. The legendary Tony McCoy won two awards.

 

Whatsonstage Theatregoers Awards
The very best of the world of theatre converged on Cameron Mackintosh’s Prince Of Wales Theatre for the Whatsonstage Theatregoers Awards. Pure talent was lauded and awarded, for extraordinary contribution to the high standard of London Theatre.
